What You Can Expect
Worship Style
We follow a traditional service format with congregational hymn singing and expository preaching from the King James Bible. Our services are focused on reverent worship that exalts the Lord Jesus Christ. Folks are welcome and encouraged to lift their hands, clap their hands, shout Amen, etc during the services as the Lord so leads them.
Families & Children
At Anchor, we love having children of all ages in our services! We believe in family-integrated worship, so babies, toddlers, and teenagers remain in the sanctuary with their parents to learn and worship together.
Attire Guidance
There is not a required dress code. We do, however, encourage modest attire that honors the Lord and respects the sanctity of His house. We encourage men and boys to wear full suits or dress pants, dress shirts, and ties if they have them and encourage ladies and girls to wear non-form-fitting modest dresses or skirts.
